Student Hostel
on University Campus
Student hostel is located in central Reykjavik and is open to everyone during the summer months!
The hostel is within a short walking distance from downtown Reykjavik and it‘s shopping street Laugavegur as well as the main landmarks in Reykjavik, i.e. Hallgrimskirkja, Harpa and the Pearl (Perlan).
Student hostel is on campus at the University of Iceland, with various service such as the University Bookstore, Bookstore Café, Háma (canteen) and the Student Cellar (bar).
Student Hostel has 99 private twin rooms with city or garden views. We offer two twin rooms with shared bathroom and deluxe twin room with private bathroom.
Services next to the Student Hostel include University canteen, Student Cellar, University Bookstore, Book Café and the University itself.

HÁMA- University Centre
Háma is our caféteria. Háma offers a wide range of food and beverages for everyone’s needs at a low price. Hot meals are served for lunch and soups all day. A great place to stop by whether you want to eat there or take away.

Unversity Bookstore
The University Bookstore offers endless supply of books, memorabilia, gifts, souvenirs and all sorts of stuff with University of Iceland logo. You can also find the Student Co-op and the Bookstore Café located in the bookstore.
Opening hours: Weekdays 9 – 17 June and July, 9 – 18 August – May.
The Student Cellar
The Student Cellar is our on site restaurant and bar. A venue for all kinds of events. Definitely a place to visit with its decor, atmosphere, good food and drinks - and last but not least the best prices in town.
Opening hours: Monday – Wednesday 11 – 23, Thursday and Friday 11 – 00, Saturday 16 – 00 and Sunday 16 – 23.
